Tax benefits, nothing else.
I don´t export, I just trade within the national territory, I don´t export to any country.
Access to technology, because the tax benefits allow me to purchase machinery with the latest technology at reasonable prices. By being in a FTZ, it allows me to import machinery and install it easily.
With regard to supplies that I obtain within Colombia they are exempt from certain taxes making our company more competitive than our competitors.
As this in a new FTZ, the knowledge and advice of the operator allows me to take maximum advantage of the available benefits.
The tax and logistical benefits encourage companies to create new business enterprises.
Training of the staff. I am located in a FTZ in the south of the country where education and employment are not the best, so we offer new legal jobs that are new to the region.
Obtaining and transferring resources from other departments to Huila.
Training our staff in operations new to the region.
We now provide goods and services previously the domain of other departments.
We benefit from reduced taxes allowing us to invest in the infrastructure and operations of our company. We don´t pay duties or IVA so we are able to invest in machinery, equipment and buildings.
Also, because we don´t pay taxes we are more competitive than companies outside the FTZ.
Also by being here we receive great support from the region.
With the existing and new agreements the procedure to dispatch merchandise is easier because we are saving time as the ports are not congested resulting in timely delivery.
By reducing the quantity of goods and services imported from other departments. I make bread, the same that is made in Bogota, Cali and Medellin, so I am contributing to the region by retaining the money spent on the bread in the region.
I also contribute by reducing unemployment by generating at least 20 jobs, having to train and make them productive resulting in more people with a better quality of life in the region.
